Harnett County -
The mission of Harnett county schools is to "educate students in a safe environment empowering them to focus on life-long learning, responsible citizenship, and global awareness". The school district serves more than 18,500 students. Since 2001, the district has opened three new elementary schools and one new high school.

Cumberland County -
With a population of nearly 308,000, Cumberland county has the fourth largest school district in North Carolina. Each year, close to 54,000 students are registered in Cumberland county's 87 schools.

Hoke County -
The Hoke county school system was recognized by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Council on Accreditation and School Improvement (SACS CASI) as a Quality School System as a result of a quality assurance review that led to district accreditation, one of the first in the country. Hoke county has seven elementary schools, three middle schools, and three high schools.
